Informational signs--written not only in Japanese but also in English--advised that Mount Fuji was visible from the Tower under ideal conditions. Dot peered intently, and even used binoculars, but we weren't able to see Mt. Fuji. Except for that understandable setback, the rest of our experience was super. We were higher than planes landing at Narita airport, and we watched them as they passed on their approach. (Maybe it's childish, but I'm always thrilled when I look out the window of a building--and realize that I'm higher than an airplane that is flying past!)
