Kimono-clad Women

We were struck with how well-dressed the shoppers were in the Ginza District. (By contrast, WE felt like a scruffy lot!) Many men wore suitcoats. Occasionally, we'd see women garbed in the traditional kimono. Sometimes, it seemed to be for a special occasion--like the young girl (on the left below) whose date is buying her flowers from a floral truck. Other women wore kiminos for reasons that were not so apparent, like the stroller and the drug store shopper below.
