The Ferry to Macau

For the trip to Macau, getting there was indeed half the fun! We traveled by a hydro-foil ferry that flew through the water--and we mean "flew" almost literally! When the ship got moving, the hull rose entirely above the surface on stilts. It was supported by underwater "wings" that were attached to the stilts. The trip took only about an hour.

Inside, the ferry was a modernistic vessel with comfortable aircraft-style seats. The seats were even equipped with safety-belts! Here's how the interior looked:
